Meshwise Terms of Use
Effective 2026-09-06
Meshwise is made by JolleyTech, LLC, which is one person in Montana. I wrote it to finish my own basement. Using the app means you agree to what is below.
What Meshwise is
Meshwise measures a room with your iPhone's LiDAR and camera and turns that into a floor plan, dimensions, material counts and 3D models. It is a tool for estimating and for seeing what you have.
What it is not
Meshwise is not a survey, an as-built drawing or a certified measurement. Don't use its output for a permit, a structural or engineering decision, a legal description, a property boundary, or anything where being wrong could hurt someone or cost real money.
Accuracy
Take your time on a scan in decent light and room dimensions usually land within about ±1 inch (±25 mm). Bad light, dark or shiny or mirrored surfaces, a room full of stuff, moving fast, or one long scan that drifts will push that to ±3 inches (±75 mm) or worse. Material counts are estimates and include an assumed waste factor. Check the numbers that matter with a tape measure before you order materials or build.
No warranty
Meshwise comes "as is", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing here promises the measurements or models are accurate, complete or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, the most JolleyTech, LLC can owe you for any claim arising out of your use of Meshwise is what you paid for the app. Knock-on costs are not covered: indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and specifically materials, labour, rework or delays.
Your responsibility
What you do with the output is on you. Verify it, and follow your local building codes. The scans are yours too, so respect other people's privacy and property when you make them.
Apple
Meshwise runs on Apple frameworks (ARKit, RoomPlan, RealityKit, Foundation Models). Apple is not a party to these terms and owes you no support for the app.
Changes
These terms can change. The current version is dated here and shown in the app. If you keep using Meshwise after a change, you have accepted it.
